For some reason people often forget to drink water, but it's extremely important, even if you never seem to be thirsty. If you wait until you're thirsty, you may already be dehydrated, and this can affect all the systems in your body. By drinking a glass of water before each meal, you'll find that you stave off hunger. In addition, take a bottle of water with you wherever you go.

Water flushes toxins from your system, and gives you clar and beautiful skin. In addition, drinking water before, during and after exercise sessions helps you to stay hydrated and alert. Drinking water can also reduce the chances that you'll get diseases like cancer and heart disease. And let's not forget one of the most important reasons of all to drink water. Water will help you to lose weight. Remember, it has absolutely zero no calories.

Let me give you some practical water drinking tips:

1. Drink at least five to eight glasses of water a day. If you're on a protein-rich diet like Atkins, you should drink even more water, because protein breakdown requires water - if you eat a hamburger, the protein breakdown just from that can lead to dehydration.

2. Try drinking water before each meal, this helps you to feel satisfied with less food.

3. Make sure that when you exercise, you take along your bottle of water.

4. Think water's boring? Try dropping a slice of lemon or lime into your glass. Or, drop in a sprig of mint, or a slice of fresh ginger.

5. Form a habit. It will take a few weeks, but if you write yourself reminders for a few weeks, by about the fourth week you'll be drinking your water without thinking about it.

Re Starting Your Diet

This is something that you need to take seriously, because without a doubt you will fall off the diet wagon at some point or other. What matters at this point though is what you do with yourself after you fall off the diet wagon.


If you just sit back and moan and despair about the fact that you fell off the diet wagon, you will not accomplish anything much. It doesn't matter whether you just binged on your favorite junk foods for a week or a month or even two months.

And this is the fact that you should talk with your doctor, physician or primary caregiver about whatever course of action it is that you want to take to lose weight.


This is a very important facet of your weight loss plans and can even help you to fashion a better weight loss plan.


It is also a good idea to get proper advice from one of these qualified practitioners since it is also best to first rule out any underlying health conditions you might have which might affect you as you lose weight.


You might need to change accordingly some of your weight loss plans, but this can only help, and not hinder your attempts at losing weight.

Лучшие показатели по 'Доступному жилью' имеет Харьковская область

Харьковская область имеет наилучший показатель по реализации программы «Доступное жилье». Как сообщили в пресс-службе Харьковской облгосадминистрации, об этом заявил сегодня заместитель губернатора Валентин Дулуб.

«Прошлый год был переходным, когда ушла одна власть, и пришла другая. Это нехорошо повлияло на вопрос строительства в регионах, в том числе и по программе «Доступное жилье». Мы смогли начать реализацию программы, когда был принят бюджет на 2010 год», - сказал Дулуб. По данным заместителя губернатора, из выделенных на строительство в области доступного жилья 9 млн. грн. возвращены 6 млн. грн.

«Три миллиона гривень, - сказал он, - мы использовали на приобретение 36 квартир, которые сдали очередникам до конца календарного года». Также он отметил, что по реализации программы «Доступное жилье» Харьковский регион демонстрирует лучший показатель по всей Украине. «Итог года показал, что лучше всех сработал Харьковский регион, у нас был наилучший показатель. Реализовать 36 квартир по программе доступного жилья не смог ни один регион Украины», - подчеркнул заместитель губернатора.

По его словам, на сегодняшний день в Харьковской области насчитывается более 1 тыс. очередников, желающих принять участие в программе «Доступное жилье». Дулуб сообщил, что Министерство регионального развития, строительства и жилищно-коммунального хозяйства Украины намерено выделить в 2011 году Харьковскому региону 25-30 млн. грн. на строительство квартир по программе «Доступное жилье».

Реальная потребность области в доступном жилье составляет около 60 тысяч квартир. «За три месяца активной работы, - сказал он, - у нас уже появилась тысячная очередь, и я считаю, что это хороший результат. Чем больше людей будут знать, что у нас есть программа, по которой реально можно получить жилье, я считаю, что желающих будет намного больше».

В программе «Доступное жилье» по схемам 50/50 (где 50 стоимости квартиры оплачивает покупатель, 30 - компенсируется из госбюджета, 20% - из городского бюджета) и 70/30 (70% стоимости квартиры оплачивает покупатель, 30% - из госбюджета) имеют право принимать участие лишь граждане, которые состоят на квартирном учете. На квартучет могут стать лишь те, у кого обеспеченность жилой площадью не превышает 7,5 кв. м на каждого члена семьи (для участников ликвидации аварии на ЧАЭС - 9 кв. м).

Cellulite Enemy Number One

As a strictly medical term, Cellulite doesn't exist but the fatty deposits found on waist, thighs and buttocks certainly does

What exactly is Cellulite?

Cellulite was a term originating in France to describe the rippling effect on the skin where fat is stored. It is also known as orange peel skin and cottage cheese skin amongst others.

There are strands of fibrous tissue that connects the skin to the deeper layers of tissue and within these are compartments that contain the cells that allow the body to store fat which is the bodies' way of storing food. This mechanism probably goes back to the times when 'man' was a hunter-gatherer and the body needed a food source to get through the winter when food was scarce.

As the fat cells grow, so more pressure is put onto the strands, which leads to the orange peel appearance of the skin. The fat cells in cellulite, according to the medical profession, do not differ from the fat cells anywhere else in the body.

Around the fat cells are fluids that wash the cells and the toxins are washed out by the lymphatic system. This process can slow down for a variety of reasons, diet, stress, hormone imbalance, pollution or a combination of them.

It appears that mens strands are formed in a different pattern to those of women, which is why men do not seem to suffer as much from cellulite, could this be because the nature of the way men had to hunt that they needed a quick access to energy whereas women who may well be pregnant, needed a long slow release of stored food. This is an interesting if untested theory. Also mens skin tends to be thicker than women so that any dimpling effect would be lessened.

Whatever the reason, the fact is that men, unless suffering from a hormonal disease, suffer much less than women, from cellulite.

Having cellulite doesn't necessarily mean that you are over-weight, it can affect the bodies of all types of build.

Age may have some bearing on those who are prone to cellulite because the ageing process means that the skin gets thinner so the strands of connecting fibrous tissue start to exert more pressure and the mottling effect becomes more noticeable. From colloquial evidence, it appears that cellulite becomes more prominent in women over the age of 40.

Cellulite, whilst it may be unacceptable to some people, is not inherently dangerous, although being overweight will bring its own health problems.

Liposuction will not totally remove cellulite because beneath the skin there are two layers of subcutaneous fat. The first layer is where the fat stored contributes to the cellulite as it is in the top of the connective tissue. The second layer of fat is arranged more loosely and this is where liposuction is carried out. It may be the case that in some people after liposuction, some of the fat cells in the first layer migrate to the second layer, thereby reducing the dimple effect of the skin.

There are some electrical devices that are said to be beneficial, electro stimulation machines that send weak electric impulses to stimulate the muscles and a process called endermologie which is carried out by trained therapists.

This is a machine with a vacuum pump and rollers, it sucks up the skin and then gives a deep massage which loosens the fat and allows the fluids to drain more easily, however both of theses options require a fairly lengthy regime to be effective.

There is no magic bullet for cellulite but a proper regime of exercise, eating and hydration may help.

As far as we are aware, there are no products or supplements that have been officially approved for cellulite reduction. In fact there have been many legal cases where a manufacturer of a cellulite reduction supplement has been taken to court; the most current was Cellasene in Florida USA. Despite this there are many anecdotal endorsements from people who have used various products and found them beneficial.

Many products on the market pertain to be natural but plants extracts do contain chemicals that may not be beneficial to everybody. If you have an ongoing medical problem or are pregnant, or are trying to conceive or are breast feeding, please seek medical advice on your supplements before taking them.
